An exceptional and ravishing bouquet brooch in 18K yellow go - Lot 183
An exceptional and ravishing bouquet brooch in 18K yellow gold 750 thousandths and platinum 850 thousandths, adorned with three flowers of five petals made up of cushion sapphires ranging from 1.65 carats to 4.11 carats in claw-set, the centers of the flowers with a cone motif, a twirling knotted ribbon holding five stems set with 34 rose- and old-cut diamonds in grain-setting, the latter ending in the same cones. This type of Bouquet brooch is reminiscent of Van Cleef Arpels' Hawai collection, launched at the very end of the 1930s. Traces of the French master hallmark, very fine quality of the diamond openwork.
