ARIÈGE. Raymond GASTON (1757-1836) Conventionnel de l'ARIÈGE - Lot 375
ARIÈGE. Raymond GASTON (1757-1836) Conventionnel de l'ARIÈGE. Autograph letter signed Paris November 30, 1791. He asks the Minister to grant a provisional Congé to his brother Colonel of the 54th Regiment garrisoned in LONGWY. "Following the unfortunate events at NANCY, where he commanded a Division, and immediately after the insurrection at BELFORT, which he was fortunate enough to bring under control, he was struck by a stroke of blood, which seriously damaged his health. He would like to go and recuperate with his family... He will go at the first signal at the head of his regiment if the needs of the Fatherland require it...". 1p in-4° 120 €
