SPANISH ARMY. 2 Letters from Generals of 1809 and 1811: Jean Pierre François BONET, General of the Revolution and Empire (Alençon/Orne 1768 - 1857). Letter A.S. BONET Major General. St Vicente (Spain) March 16, 1809. 1p in-4°. To a General. "His Majesty Mr. Marshal Duc d'ISTRIE (BESSIÈRES) sends me a thousand capotes. I presume they come from the Burgos Stores", he orders them distributed to Tarrelavega for the Corps on other points + Jean LECAMUS, Baron de Molignon, Général d'Empire (Aubusson 1762 - 1846). Signed, in triplicate, in VALLADOLID (Spain) on November 6 (1811), as General, Chief of the General Staff. "The General-in-Chief orders the 4th Vistula Regiment to leave ZAMIRA as soon as it has been relieved by the 4th Battalion of the 62nd Line Infantry Regiment, to proceed to BENAVENTE where it will be under the orders of Major General Comte DUMOUTIER...". 1p in-4°
