Cycling / R.Maes / Belt. Astonishing illustrated, canvas-backed poster from 1938 for the Romain Maes footstrap. After his success in the 1935 Tour, where he wore the Maillot Jaune from start to finish, Romain caught the eye of the equipment manufacturers, and found himself nicely taken hostage by this manufacturer of a belt "that never slips, with its double-row buckle"!!!! A pure Belgian product for "cannibals", a real curiosity. Small trace of folding. 28X21.
