Rolland, Lauredi, Rey, Camellini, Giguet) - West (around Barbotin, and Robic, Cogan, Mahé, Bonnaventure, Person) - Ile de France (around Idée, Brulé, Forlini, Chapatte, Diot, Caput, Muller, Deprez) - France (around Marinelli, Gem, Danguillaume, Louis Bobet, Apo et Lucien Lazarides, L.Teisseire) - Belgium (Van Steenbergen, Stan Ockers, Kint, Impanis, Lambrecht, Dupont) - Italy (around Coppi and Bartali, Ronconi, De Santis, Corrieri) - Switzerland and Luxembourg (around Kublër, and Goldchmidt, Kirchen, Diederich, the two Weilenmans and Aeschlimann) For the record, it was Kublër who triumphed, and Antonin Rolland, born in 1924, finished 29th for his 2nd Tour. He took part in 10 editions, never gave up and wore the Yellow Jersey in 1955.
