Foret: "Souvenir Officiel du Cinquantenaire du Tour de France cycliste, Arrivée à Paris", 14.5 x 10 cm Around the official stamp by Albert Decaris (Olympic medalist in London 1948) and the illustrated cachet of the Cinquantenaire, the Eiffel Tower turbaned by Cello, from Garin to Bobet, makes the ideal link. Printed signature of Louison, under the inscription "Henri Desgranges - Créateur du Tour en 1903" On verso, details of the 22 stages, and rankings: 1st Bobet, 2nd Malléjac, 3rd Astrua. Cello was the pseudonym of Marcel Juseret (1895-1965), who did a considerable amount of cycling work.
