Cycling / Tour / Poetry / Izoard Pierre LOUKI (1920-2006) Handwritten poem in blue pen from the collection "Aneries" published in 1998 by Christian Pirot (29.5 x 21 cm) Pierre Louki, the unjustly forgotten writer-poet-singer-songwriter, takes us in a perfectly sublime way to a mythical spot on the Tour de France, the Izoard (2361m). "Dans le vieux col", he adds, "with the complicity of Paul Verlaine". We think of Bottecchia, Bobet and Rivière as we murmur these lines written by the poet, who was also quite a runner.
