Zenith by Gay Frères Probably unique and original ladies' watch in 18K yellow gold 750 thousandths with mechanical movement. - Round case, domed bezel, fluted crown, clipped caseback (tilting in the cuff for better time setting). - Cream dial, applied baton hour markers and Arabic numerals, dauphine hands. - Exceptional 18K yellow gold "belt" bracelet covering the dial and running around the wrist, with braided mesh and gold bead edging, the clasp with a gadrooned flap forming an openwork knot in twisted gold wire, sliding safety catch. Case, dial and movement signed. Buckle (for both buckle and bracelet) with the Gay Frères hallmark and numbered 3 61 for the third quarter of 1961. Case numbered 716957, "modèle déposé" hammerhead 119 for Guidraux Co, active in La Chaux de Fonds between 1934 and 1970 Calibre 11 hand-wound mechanical movement numbered 4728147 Width: 20 mm - Strap length: 23 cm maximum - Gross weight: 92.2 g Condition report: Good cosmetic condition, fine wear scratches, dial with patina, frosted glass, watch works at time of appraisal, servicing recommended.
