Cycling / Georges Sérès / Léon Didier / Boldo / Demi-Fond / Stayers Lot of two large vintage photographs (Boldo) of cyclists: - Gersois Georges Sérès (1884-1951) as a warrior on his bike. He raced at over 80 km/h behind the motorcycle of the leather-clad pacemakers to generate shelter. This discipline claimed dozens of combat casualties. Georges Sérès, world champion in 1920 and French champion in 1919-20-22-23-25. He died in Suresnes, where he built a velodrome. 49.5 x 39.5 cm - Léon Didier (1881-1931), shown here in bonnet, was also a middle-distance warrior, racking up victories and records, even stealing the national title from Sérès in 1921. 59.5 x 49.5 cm.
