Pair of gold ostrogothic earrings
Each with a penannular ear wire, round in cross-section, one end attached to a hollow polygonal bead, the other end tapering, the four main faces of the bead with a group of seven granules, the eight smaller faces with groups of three granules (some lost), with twisted wire around the perforations.
Italy, 5th or 6th century A.D.
