Euchologion in Arabic - Lot 22
Euchologion in Arabic Manuscript on paper, 138 leaves, key words and titles in red, some floral rosettes adorning important sections and titles, and a few handwritten annotations by a later hand. 21 x 16 cm. Leaves missing at beginning and end, many leaves soiled and blackened, damaged at extremities and with rough repairs to paper, very damaged period leather binding (with a section cut out in the shape of a cross) with top board missing. Egypt, 18th century. The Euchologion is a Greek Orthodox liturgical book, presented here in an Egyptian Coptic translation in Arabic characters.
