Khatchkar (stone cross), 14th-15th century A typical commemorative stone for Armenian pilgrims who have visited a holy site. Large central cross with interlacing decoration surrounded by four circles featuring capital letters that are classical abbreviations: ՏՐ for Lord, ԱԾ for God, ՅՍ for Jesus and ՔՍ for Christ. for Christ. In the lower part with two small Byzantine crosses on either side of the central cross. In the lower part, a three-line Armenian inscription that Prof. Nersessian Prof. Nersessian translated as follows: May this cross be an intercessor for Oskan, Hambari, Varekin, Grigorin. 48 x 33 x 5 cm approx.
