Silver crucifix inscribed in a disc Polylobed cross inscribe - Lot 138
Silver crucifix inscribed in a disc Polylobed cross inscribed in an openwork, serrated disc, adorned with the Evangelists on the branches and flowers in radius around Christ in relief with the titulus inscribed in Armenian ՅՆԹՀ. On the back, on the edge of the disk, a commemorative cicular inscription: ՅԻՇԱՏԱԿ Է ՍԲ ԽԱՉՍ ՎԱՐԴԵՆՈՒՆ ՀՈԳՈՒՆ Ի ԴՈՒՌՆ ՍԲ ՍԱՐԳԻՍՈՒ ԺԱՄԸ ՅՆԹՀ (This Holy Cross is in memory of the soul of Vardeni at the door of the Church of St. Sergius). Rests on a tapered mantle adorned with a small cross and finished with a sphere. Later assembly, clumsy soldering. H: 22 cm.
