Reading manual (գիրգ այբուբենից), 1675 Marseille, impr. de Saint-Etchmiadzine-et-de Saint-Serge-le-Guerrier by Salomon de Léon, nephew of Oskan d'Erévan, 1675. This work contains the Armenian alphabet in its various calligraphies, a simplified phonetic Italian manual for merchants, advice on preserving the health of the body and an astrological manual. In-12° (9.2 x 6 cm), 94 pages. Complete with engraving of the Infant Jesus surrounded by angel musicians. Old handwritten annotations in ink on title page and flyleaves (attempts to write the alphabet). Bound in contemporary parchment.
