Lectionary (Ճաշոց), 1686 Venice, impr. by Gaspar son of khodja Sarhat of New Djulfa and the priest Tadeos Hamazaspian of Yerevan, 1686-1688. 2 volumes. Vol. 1: 650 pages (first 10 leaves unnumbered) and vol. 2: 346 pages (from 652 to 997). In-folio. Full-page engravings. Numerous ornamental woodcuts in the text and margins. Beautiful modern binding with preservation of the old boards. Modern titles (Gregorio Sceriman) and headpieces (Tom. I and Tom. II). A very fine work financed by the wealthy Sceriman (Shahrimani) family of New Djulfa in Persia, to which Gaspar son of Sarhat belonged.
