The title page is illustrated with the heraldic symbols of the Shahrimian family (scales, pen in inkwell, scissors...). Copy in fair condition despite wormholes, stains and marginal tears. Handwritten colophon dated 1883. Several reading notes on scraps of paper. Vintage binding worn and damaged. Written by the priest Mesrob (or Mesrop) of the village of Hogots, in the valley of Vayots Dzor in the kingdom of Siounik, in the year 962, his book first takes up the story of Orbelian, then that of Saint Nerses the Great and finally that of Moushegh Mamigonian, commander of the Armenians.
