"Réception de Foi et Hommage de la Terre de CHASTENAY en Gatinais faite par Antoine PICOT de DAMPIERRE, ayant, acquis la dite Terre de François de NILLARD Baron de Chasteauneuf , à Réné de PORQUAIRES Seigneur de CRENNE." The château was successively owned by Du Guesclin, François de Cullant, Picot comte de Dampierre, the Nicolaï family and the Thierry family. Part of the château was destroyed during the French Revolution. Some elements remain today. Parchment (128 x 47 cm) dated June 20, 1547 + SEINE ET MARNE. Parchment dated February 6, 1635.
