MARINE. PORT OF MORLAIX, Finistère. "French prisoner returning from England. Passport, in the Name of the Emperor (Napoleon 1st), made at the Bureau de la Marine, Morlaix, December 7, 1812. "It is ordered that Louis LE DUC Volontaire de Juilliers, aged 36, disembarked in this port from the English parliamentarian LE BRILLIANE coming from the PORTHMOUTH depot, having been taken on the C. LA CAROLINE on which he embarked at Guadeloupe and on which he was serving as a volunteer, to withdraw to Juillers and present himself, as soon as he arrives, to the Marine Commissioner of his district, on pain of being punished as a deserter.... Let LE DUC pass freely... Good for 10 days."
