Large format. Planet Earth, 3rd planet of a star called the Sun. The Earth resembles a sphere, essentially composed of rock. 70% of its surface is water. It has a thin layer of atmosphere composed of Hydrogen and Water. This photograph, nicknamed "Blue Marble", was taken by the crew of Apollo 17 in 1972 and remains one of the most famous in the history of mankind. Later chromogenic print. 40 x 40cm. Caption on back.
