Paris, circa 1750. Stamped by Jean-Baptiste GOURDIN, Master in 1748. Pair of caned armchairs, à la reine, in natural wood. They stand on four curved legs with scalloped belts and whiplash-shaped armrests. Fine quality carving on the backrest and connecting dice. Upholstered in burgundy galette. Minor accidents and damage, old restorations and traces of woodworm. Dimensions: 97 x 64 x 50 cm Seat height : 43 cm
