Lefèvre et Firmin Didot Frères, 1836. 2 vols. large in-8 full contemporary long-grained brown morocco, ornate ribbed spines, gilt decoration framing the boards, gilt edges (corners crushed, 3 spidermaps and a few scratches on the second board of volume 2, slight traces of white wax on the boards, freckles). Edition decorated with numerous lithographed out-of-text portraits printed on chine appliqué. Copy in a fine period romantic binding.
