Paris, Maison Basset, no date. In-4, period blue cardboard, Paris city iron on 1st board (headbands and corners worn, one spine split over 5 cm, uneven foxing. First part only, complete with 28 plates. Pierre-Roch Vigneron (1789-1872) was a French painter, lithographer and draughtsman of the XIXᵉ century, a pupil of Claude Gautherot and Antoine-Jean Gros, best known for his artistic works and engravings. Rather rare work.
