VILLON (François): Les œuvres. Porson, 1942. Large In-8 in leaves with slipcase and slipcase (some foxing on the spine of the slipcase, the lower part of the slipcase is missing). Edition illustrated with 226 miniatures by Henry LEMARIE. The two hundred and twenty-six miniatures adorning this book required the artist, whose first book this is, to work diligently for 450 consecutive days. Coloring them by hand took over twenty-five thousand hours. This is the artist's first illustrated book. 1/650 vellum.
