St. Helena Medal, 1857
In patinated bronze, with green and red ribbon.
On reverse: "À ses compagnons de gloire, sa dernière pensée. St. Helena, May 5, 1821".
The obverse shows the laurelled profile of Napoleon I, turned to the right, set in a laurel wreath, the whole surmounted by an imperial crown.
Accompanied by its white cardboard box, the lid embossed: "Aux compagnons de gloire de Napoléon Ier, décret impérial du 12 août 1857".
Height with ribbon: 95 mm
