Solid silver serving spoon, plain flat pattern, made in Angers during the reign of Louis XV.
It is hallmarked :
. Charge mark in full and discharge mark for the period 1762 - 1768.
. Letter date for the year 1767-1768
. Goldsmith's hallmark of Olivier-Georges La Roche, master in 1730, died in 1772.
This spoon is particularly massive for a plain flat model.
