Square powder compact in 18K or 14K (?) gold and 800-part silver; the lid is decorated with radiating striations centered on a swirling openwork motif set with a natural bright red spinel. Made in the 1950s. Dimensions: 7.5 x 7.5 cm Gross weight: 154 g The interior lining shows signs of wear. This model is comparable to certain pieces produced by Tiffany & Co. or Cartier from the same period.
