An elegant brooch crafted from 18K white gold (750 parts per - Lot 312
An elegant brooch crafted from 18K white gold (750 parts per thousand) and platinum (greater than 850 parts per thousand), featuring a stylized openwork floral motif entirely set with 295 brilliant-cut and 8/8-cut diamonds. The top is set with a trapezoid-cut diamond and a baguette-cut diamond, each weighing approximately 0.40 ct. At its center is a large, unheated Burmese ruby cut into a teardrop (flat) cabochon and set in a closed setting, mounted on a movable element equipped with a reversible system that can accommodate a second stone on the reverse side, allowing it to be adapted for different occasions.
Master’s hallmark: G—a clover within a palm leaf—C within a diamond for Georges Chabrolle, listed in the Didot-Bottin Business Directory in 1926.
The stone is accompanied by a certificate from the GEM PARIS laboratory, No. 20261978853, stating, in their opinion:
