ATTILIO CODOGNATO - Lot 319
ATTILIO CODOGNATO
A magnificent and exceptional necklace and photo pendant in 18k yellow gold (750 fineness).
One side is adorned with a high-relief bust of a goddess, wearing a crown set with diamonds and featuring a brooch set with an emerald in her hair. She wears a necklace enhanced by an oval cabochon sapphire. The ensemble stands out against a blue enameled checkered background, accented by two square rubies.
The reverse features a design of four finely chiseled and polychromatic enameled chimeras, alternating with four square rubies. In the center, a bezel-set medallion with a yellow sapphire opens onto a bouquet of sculpted and enameled roses. The reverse of the medallion is signed A. Codognato.
The pendant opens fully via a hinge to reveal two blank oval plates in 18k white gold (750 fineness), allowing for personalized engraving or the insertion of a photograph.
The border is adorned with a black-enameled foliage motif, set with four Antwerp-cut rose diamonds, one cushion-cut antique diamond, two oval rubies, and four emeralds. The bail is adorned with two diamonds, one a diamond-shaped Antwerp rose cut and the other a pear-shaped rose cut.
The pendant comes with a necklace featuring twisted oval links, fitted with a clasp with an eight-point safety catch.
Pendant dimensions: 7.8 × 4.5 × 4 cm
Necklace length: 91 cm
Total gross weight: 185.5 g
