BERTHOUD in Paris Early 19th century Oignon" type pocket watch in polished metal. - Round globular case, smooth bowl, plain back. - Polychrome enamel dial. The center features a painted scene depicting an animated character, castle-like architecture and a ship. Hours in black Arabic numerals on a white background. - Mechanical movement with key winding. Movement signed BERTHOUD in Paris. Diameter: 55 mm Condition: wear and tear on case, minor enamel chips on key winding mechanism. Note: Movement untested, sold as is, with key. A complete overhaul is to be expected by the purchaser.
