Must de Cartier – "Tank Vermeil" Model
"Tank Vermeil" ladies’ wristwatch
- Case in 925 sterling silver plated with 20 microns of yellow gold, with a case back secured by four side screws, bearing the inscription "Ford France" engraved in cursive script as well as a personal dedication at the bottom: "to Gilles Gagnier / 25 years old / 1983".
- Light gray and black lacquered dial, signed "Must de Cartier", gold railway-style minute track, Roman numerals at the cardinal points. Gold hands. Fluted winding crown set with a blue cabochon.
- Cartier-signed quartz movement. The plexiglass appears to be an aftermarket replacement.
- Black leather strap with a metal pin buckle.
Dimensions: 31 x 24 cm
Numbers: 6 81006 / 15873
Condition: Significant wear on the gold plating along the edges of the lugs; superficial micro-scratches on the plexiglass (replaced). The watch was not functioning at the time of appraisal; a service and battery replacement are required.
Sold as is, with box, without original papers.
