PATEK PHILIPPE Golden Ellipse Ref. 3598-900 Oval-shaped men’s or women’s wristwatch in 18K white gold (750 parts per thousand), circa 1970. - Wine-red/purple painted dial with black flamed decoration, no hour markers. "Patek Philippe Genève" signature painted in white. "Swiss" inscription at 6 o'clock. Baton-style hands. - Tonneau/oval-shaped case in 18K white gold. Screw-down caseback, numbered 531626 on the inside and marked with reference 3598-900. 18K/750 fineness mark and master’s mark. Fluted winding crown. - Manual-winding mechanical movement, caliber 23-300, signed Patek Philippe Genève. Numbered on the bridge. - Black crocodile-style leather strap with its original 18K gold pin buckle signed Patek Philippe. Dimensions: 29 x 34 mm Gross weight: 41.51 g Condition: Very good overall condition. Case shows slight micro-scratches from normal wear but retains its beautiful lines. Painted dial in excellent condition. Clean movement, of great finesse. The watch was functioning at the time of appraisal; a service is recommended. Sold as is, without the original box or papers
