ROBESPIERRE. 1794. ASSIGNATS. Extract from the Registres des arrêtés du COMITÉ DE SALUT PUBLIC de la Convention Nationale, 27 Prairial An 2 (15 Juin 1794) - signed (impr.) Carnot, Lindet, Robespierre, Collot-d'Herbois, C. A. Prieur, B. Barère, Couthon, Billaud-Varenne. In accordance with the provisions of the French Constitution, a resolution was passed "relating to the accounts to be rendered of revolutionary taxes, loans, seizures, exchanges of church silverware, to regulate the form in which these accounts are to be rendered, adopts the following." (in 15 articles.); "1°) Any citizen who has collected or received in deposit cash, assignats, or gold, silver or vermeil effects, coming either from revolutionary taxes, contributions, seizures, loans, or exchanges, or from church spoils, or from voluntary donations intended to be used for the defense of the Fatherland,..., will address their accounts that they are required to render to the national agent of the district before the 1st fructidor...".
