And in particular at the Combat of 21 Brumaire in front of MONDOVI, where he was in charge of directing several Compagnies and the Grenadiers of our Corps, against the enemy who was fortifying himself on the heights, and having charged him first with the bayonet, he succeeded in driving them from his position and seized two pieces of cannon...
