MARNE / "Chaalons en Champaigne", panoramic view of Chalons en Champagne (51), copperplate engraving printed on 2 joined leaves, by Mathaus MERIAN (1593-1650), this is the 1638 version (hunter and dog in lower right corner and Arms of the City centered), fine hand-coloring, presented in a simple 1950s baquette frame (34 x 19.5 cm sight and 45 x 30 cm frame, some foxing).
