(Autograph and Bibliophily) - Marcel ARLAND / "Sidobre", Paris, Editions de Minuit, 1949, first edition, one of 10 first copies on Lafumpa pur fil (n°5), signed on the flyleaf (as announced), bound in cream demi-velin, white starred paper boards, smooth spine, gilt head edge, covers and spine preserved, 67 p (9.5 x 15.5 cm), copy enriched with a fine autograph signed letter "to Paul Beauvais, this souvenir of a vacation spent, after the Liberation, in a corner of the Sidobre plateau (with Jean Paulhan and René Drouin)". - copy with a detached title page from another copy of the same title, with a full-page autograph letter to M. Maurice Leclère, in which he reveals the genesis of this short story": "I must have written this short story around 1947, following a stay I had on the Sidobre plateau with Paulhan and René Drouin (the picture dealer). I was very fond of the area, and most of the figures in the story are real. I can tell you that this story has never been reprinted, precisely because it was not conceived as a whole".
