BAVIERE / Suite of 3 original photographs (albertypes) of 2 famous sites in Bavaria: the Valley and its suspension bridge at Schwangau and nearby Hohenschwangau Castle (24.5 x 28.5 cm; 29.5 x 23.5 cm; 29 x 22.5 cm) by photographer Josef ALBERT (1825-1886), official photographer of the Bavarian Court, inventor of a photographic print called "albertype", 2 of these prints bear the dry-stamp "Jos. Albert München" with the dry-engraved date 1899, these are prints made by Eugen Albert (1856-1926), son of Joseph, these 3 photographs are laminated on cardboard pages from the same album, in fine condition, fresh and contrasting, on the back of the 3rd photo is a photograph by another photographer, depicting Munich's Promenadenplatz (27 x 21 cm).
