SCHILLER (Friedrich) Schiller's Gedichte, mit photographien nach Zeichnungen von Böcklen, und Holzschnitten nach Zeichungen von Julius Schnorr (Stuttgart, Cotta, 1859- 1862. Graphic Arts Collection) Large folio (36 x 27 cm) containing 43 framed photographs and numerous illustrations. Bound in beveled wood boards dressed in brown waffle leather, framed on the first board with decorative hardware and a portrait of Schiller in a gilded medallion on black velvet. Gilt edges. This work was published to mark the hundredth anniversary of Schiller's birth. Wear to binding. Stains.
