China, 19th century Porcelain paintbrush with a crackled background, decorated around the rim with palmettes in blue enamel. The background is decorated with lotus branches animated by a duck in slight black enamel relief. The reverse bears a stylized leaf-shaped mark. Diameter: 25.5 cm Height: 5 cm Firing defects. Mounted on a wire stand.
