Cartier
Gilt metal poudrier with chased decoration enhanced by Persian polychrome enamel of tigers, elephants, birds and flowers, the lapis lazuli teardrop-shaped pusher pricked with a turquoise cabochon. It opens onto a beveled mirror and a powder compartment with sieve and pad.
In a black case signed Cartier and a red morocco case without palmettes.
(1950s production, interior probably replaced and more modern).
Signed Cartier in curcive, Made in India and numbered S 4029.
