Bishop of Olmütz and Osnabrück, Primate of Lorraine - Letter A.S. Prince Charles de LORRAINE, written from OSNABRÚCK "Germany" on April 29, 1704: "Monsieur. Having considered the fidelity, ability and probity of my dear and fair Don Gérôme de Ponte, and the long services he has rendered to the whole House of Your Royal Highness, I have resolved to declare him my Envoy to your Court to observe what will be of common good to our service.
