We have declared the 29 pounds of powder seized, acquired and confiscated in favor of the Adjudicataire Général des Poudres et Salpêtres de France, and for the contravention committed by Nicolas HANTZER, a COLMAR boatman (who transported the barrel of powder from Strasbourg to Colmar), we have condemned him to a fine of 300 pounds and to pay the costs... and that Guillaume SCHMITT, a bourgeois merchant from STRASBOURG, will be obliged to pay the fine...".
