Pierre-Louis, Comte ROEDERER(1754-1835) Lawyer, Deputy of the Third Estate of METZ (Moselle) to the Estates-General of 1789 and to the National Assembly, of which he became secretary in 1790. Autograph letter signed, to Mr HAINZELIN Ecuyer, Seigneur de Saucy in Lorraine. METZ (Moselle) July 2, 1779. He asks for instructions on how to find out the reports for the Land of SAUCY (or Saulcy), which he needs "to put myself in a position to pass my new Lease of Saucy at its fair value and not be fooled by country people...". He asks to put the answer to his questions in the margin.
