Bean, lunar module pilot for the Apollo 12 mission, descends the lunar module ladder to join astronaut Charles Conrad Jr, mission commander, during an extravehicular activity (EVA). While astronauts Conrad and Bean descended in the LM "Intrepid" to explore the Ocean of Storms region on the Moon, astronaut Richard F.
