"The Chamber ordered during the vacations to provide for the requisition verbally made by the Procureur du Roy, and for the preservation of the public health of the Province, forbade the Superiors of the Orders and Convents of the Religious of this Province, to receive any religious coming from NAPLES, and other towns and places afflicted with the contagious disease on the Italian side, unless they have certificates from the consuls of the bordering towns and places by which they will have entered the Province, and without first having notified the Consuls of the towns...
