REVOLUTION. 1791. LOIR-ET-CHER. Law relating to the evaluation of WOODS and FORESTS and TOURBIÈRES. Given in Paris on July 20, 1791. "All woods under the age of 30 will be deemed coppice,... Woods currently in existence and over thirty years old will be estimated at their current value... Evaluation of income from forests managed as regulated cuttings... when a plot of land is exploited as a peat bog, its income for the ten years following the start of peat harvesting will be evaluated at double the amount of the previous year...".
