ARIÈGE. 1803. Arrêté de BRUN, Préfet du Département de l'Ariège, aux Maires...". FOIX 10 Thermidor An 11 (July 29, 1803). He informs them that the Government has just issued two Orders concerning the formation of VETERAN CAMPS. "It has fixed the bases of this organization, and the measures it is devoting to it, with regard to the housing of veterans, their clothing, equipment and weapons. It is essential, Citizens, for all servicemen, wounded or injured, to obtain prompt and perfect knowledge of this decree". The First Consul BONAPARTE and Alexandre BERTHIER Minister of War.
