Delphine de GIRARDIN, née Delphine GAY (1804-1855) was a writer and poet. She was the daughter of Sophie Nichault de la Vallette, a renowned writer and salonnière, and Jean Sigismond Gay, Seigneur de Lupigny in Savoie, Receiver-General of the Roer département. On June 1, 1831, she married Émile de Girardin, born Émile Delamothe, journalist and member of parliament - Autograph bill signed. Word of apology. Signed "Delphine Girardin". circa 1850.
