Louise GREFFULHE-CASTELLANE, La Maréchale de CASTELLANE, Comtesse de Castellane. Louise Cordélia Eucharis Greffulhe (1796-1847) was the daughter of Jeanne Pauline Randon de Pully and Louis Greffulhe, and sister of banker Jean-Henry-Louis Greffulhe. She married Esprit Victor Elisabeth Boniface, Comte de Castellane, Maréchal et Pair de France, on June 22, 1813. She is said to have had CHATEAUBRIAND and the Comte de MOLÉ as lovers - 2 private, undated A.S. letters (circa 1860) to her beloved Chancellor, one concerning a meal at M de Rémusat's and the other on news of her husband's state of health from Perpignan.
