"Certify that the named Fabien OUDONNET dit BELLEFIN Sergeant, a native of Montfort (Gers), aged 48, has been serving in the Regiment for 24 years and was wounded by a gunshot to the angle of the jaw at the Siege of FRIBOURG, he also has poor eyesight, and pains that put him in no condition to continue... we have given him the present to retire to the Hôtel des Invalides.
