Letter signed PETITOT (secretary to the Intendant), to Mr THEVENIN first Secretary of the Nancy intendance. 1page in-4°: "I have received Monsieur, in the Absence of Mr l'Intendant, the letter... with the roll and the expéditions of the judgments rendered against 14 Condamnés aux Galères, coming from the prisons of NANCY and those of METZ. These convicts arrived in Dijon on the 13th and were received in the prisons of the Parliament of this city. I was careful to deliver a certificate of this delivery to the Maréchal des logis concerning the Maréchaussée detachment in charge of their escort...".
